Simple Things
I'm a huge fan of good food, and I'm bothered when people assume that this means expensive food. I find good food at all prices (and have a lot of fun looking for good examples).
This meal is an example of huge value for money - it's cheap and good. I eat this more than anyone would believe and am happy every time.

Egg in a Hole
1 serving
2 eggs
1 tablespoon butter
1 slice bread
salt & pepper
- Rip or cut a circle (1.5 inch diameter) from the center of the bread.
- Toast one side of the bread in the buttered skillet. Flip the bread (it's important to get both sides really fried).
- Break one egg into the hole and the other against the bottom of the toast (the balance of egg to toast is wrong with just one egg).
- Flip when cooked on one side.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Enjoy!
